Melody and Jacob got married on September 28, 2025 at The Oaks at Plum Creek in Castle Rock, Colorado. Sixty-three people, golden hour light, and a beautiful Jewish wedding. This one had everything.

The day started with getting ready right there on site. Before the ceremony, Melody and Jacob shared a private first look, just the two of them, where they read their vows to each other before a single guest arrived. The groom covered his face with both hands when he saw her. That photo says more than any caption ever could.

The ceremony took place outside under a chuppah surrounded by fall color. A rabbi officiated, and the whole thing felt both sacred and warm at the same time. Melody walked down the aisle in a floral lace gown that was made for that setting. The dip kiss at the end of the ceremony with the whole crowd behind them is one of our favorite frames from the entire year.

After the ceremony, we headed out for golden hour portraits. The light in Castle Rock in late September is hard to beat. Warm, soft, and it made every shot look effortless. The under-the-veil portrait with the glitter catching the light is something special.

Then the party. The hora got the whole room going. The billiards room gave us some of the most fun portraits of the night. The Oaks at Plum Creek is one of the most beautiful outdoor wedding venues in the Castle Rock and Douglas County area, and this day showed exactly why.
